What is the strangest thing you have ever seen in the anmial kingdom?
It can be anything as long as it was weird. Mine would be: years ago I saw a frog eat a duck. Yes…a frog eating a duck. It was a baby duck but a duck none the less. Now, what’s everyone elses?
I didn’t see this myself, it was on some video but incredibly weird. A certain kind of tropical fungus infects an ant, and messes up the ant’s brain in such a way that the ant is forced to climb a stalk and fasten its jaws tightly into the stalk so it stays in place, and then it dies. The ant’s body is then fertilizer for the growing fungus, which at its height, can send out more spores to rain down on other ants, infecting hem and continuing the cycle.
